CFR Incoterm for Construction Materials from Türkiye
CFR (Cost and Freight) is similar to CIF but the buyer arranges marine insurance. Zerixa pays freight to the destination port. Common in bulk cement and commodity trades where buyers have their own insurance policies.
CFR vs CIF
- CFR: seller pays freight, buyer insures
- CIF: seller pays freight and minimum insurance
- Both: risk transfers at origin port when loaded on vessel
